Build an AI-powered tool where aspiring UP entrepreneurs describe their startup idea and instantly receive market fit analysis, matching government schemes (MYUVA, StartinUP, CoE), a viability scorecard, competitor mapping, and actionable next steps.

UP has 16,000+ DPIIT-registered startups and is the 4th largest startup ecosystem in India, with active support via MYUVA loans and StartinUP programmes.

Use this challenge

Develop a tool for SMEs and manufacturers along UP's expressway corridors to plan freight routes, estimate cost and time, and locate the nearest Integrated Manufacturing and Logistics Centre (IMLC) across Purvanchal, Ganga, Gorakhpur Link, and Bundelkhand corridors.

UP has 27 IMLCs planned across 26 districts and the Ganga Expressway spanning 594 km, creating a high-growth logistics corridor for small manufacturers.

Use this challenge

Build a calculator where a UP household inputs their location, roof area, electricity consumption, and budget to receive a personalised solar panel recommendation — with 5–10 year savings projections, PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy eligibility, and CO₂ impact estimate.

UP has 3,483 MW of solar capacity with 2 lakh+ homes already solarised, targeting 500 GW nationally by 2030 under PM Surya Ghar Yojana.

Build an interactive, mobile-friendly dashboard visualising rural development metrics for a UP gram panchayat — tracking sanitation, education, health, road connectivity, and digital access against 2047 targets — with category filters and a comparison view of current state vs. goals.

98+ lakh citizen suggestions have been incorporated into the Viksit UP vision, highlighting demand for grassroots-level progress tracking across 75 districts.

Use this challenge

Create a platform that matches UP youth (aged 14–35) with relevant UPSDM skill development courses. Users input education, interests, location, and career goals to get tailored course recommendations across 654 trades in 53 sectors, nearest ITI finder, and career pathway visualisation.

UPSDM covers 654 trades with 3,258 ITIs spread across all 75 districts of UP, serving a large base of youth seeking vocational skilling and employment.

Use this challenge

Build an AI-powered tool that analyses batches of citizen feedback entries — auto-categorising by theme and sub-theme, detecting sentiment, tagging by district, assessing urgency, and generating prioritised executive summary reports with key insights and action points for government officials.

Over 9.8 million (98 lakh) citizen suggestions were received for the Viksit UP vision, creating a large-scale unstructured text analysis challenge for policymakers.
